Jan Yale, Founder and Director of Pomeranian Rescue Group, has been rescuing Pomeranians since 1994. Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, Pomeranian Rescue Group is the original Breed Specific Pomeranian Rescue Group initially covering all of California north of Los Angeles!

Our group is a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit group and all donations go to the veterinary bills and when needed, training costs for the Pomeranians we rescue. All our Pomeranians are fully vetted and up to date on vaccines as well as spay/neutered and micro chipped and given needed medical care before going to their new furever homes. Our goal is to give quality care and to place our little rescues in the perfect home for them and not the quantity of Pomeranians we rescue!

FOSTER HOMES NEEDED

Seeking all Foster Angels! We are always in dire need of safe and loving foster homes. In this economy, so many people are surrendering their pets that we cannot handle the volume of rescue requests we receive. If you are willing to receive more love than you could possibly imagine, please consider fostering, it is truly the most rewarding thing you will ever do in your life...and we speak from experience! If we don’t have a foster home, we can’t rescue that homeless Pomeranian on death row!

Our Mission Statement: We are a 501(c)(3)non-profit rescue group focused on the rescue, medical needs, evaluation, rehabilitation and placement of Pomeranians.

Our objectives:

•To provide a safe environment, the needed medical care and evaluation for Pomeranians we have rescued from shelters or are surrendered to us by their owners.

•To match these rescued Poms with a family where we feel they will live and thrive "happily ever after".

•To promote and educate the principles of responsible dog ownership in the home and community with an emphasis on spay and neutering all rescue/shelter Pomeranians

•To provide a source of education and support for fanciers of Pomeranians
